Refunds & Cancellation

October 16, 2026

Free costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel or refund on it. Everything below is about Basic and Pro, the two paid monthly plans.

Cancelling a plan

Three things to know:

  • Cancel any time from the billing page, through Stripe's hosted Customer Portal. No email required, no retention call, no form.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: your plan stays active until that period ends, then the account returns to Free.
  • A plan costs €7 (Basic) or €15 (Pro) per month, billed by Stripe. No VAT is charged, under the small-business rule in §19 UStG; the price shown is the final amount payable.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you have fourteen days from starting a subscription to withdraw from it, without giving a reason. To do so, email [email protected] within that window and we will refund your most recent payment in full, using the same payment method.

Refunds outside the 14 days

We refund without argument when:

  • You were charged twice for the same period.
  • You were charged after cancelling, or on a renewal you did not intend.
  • The service was substantially unavailable for a meaningful part of a paid billing period.

Beyond that

A month you have already paid for and used is not normally refunded once it has run — cancelling stops the next one instead. If you think your situation deserves an exception, write to [email protected]. We would rather resolve it than have you dispute the charge with your bank.

How a refund arrives

Refunds go back through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank usually takes five to ten business days to show it, which is outside our control.

Price changes

We will email you before any price change takes effect. If you do not want the new price, cancel before that date and you will not be charged it.

Closing your account

Settings → Delete account removes your account, your clients, every request and every uploaded file immediately and for good — see the Privacy Policy for the full list of what that takes with it. Cancel a paid plan first, through the billing page, so Stripe is not left billing a card no account can be linked back to.
